Dr. Miguel Herrera serves as Secretary-General of the Inter-American Division of the International Society of Hematology (ISH-IAD). He is a hematologist, bone marrow transplant specialist, researcher, and a strong advocate for innovation in molecular hematology and next-generation sequencing (NGS).

To the left is Dr. Guillermo Ruiz-Argüelles, internationally recognized hematologist, transplant physician, researcher, and former Past Chair of Council of the International Society of Hematology. Dr. Ruiz-Argüelles has received multiple international distinctions for his contributions to hematology, transplantation, and scientific research.

To the right is Dr. David Gómez-Almaguer, distinguished hematologist, bone marrow transplant specialist, researcher, and former Past Chair of Council of ISH. His academic and clinical contributions have had a significant impact on hematology in Latin America and internationally.

All three physicians remain actively involved in advancing hematology through research, education, scientific collaboration, and leadership within the International Society of Hematology. Dr. Ruiz-Argüelles and Dr. Gómez-Almaguer continue to serve as active members of the ISH Board, contributing their expertise and longstanding commitment to the global hematology community.
